Proof of the Pudding is currently seeking a seasoned Sous Chef to join their team as the culinary leader at the Rough Riders Stadium, where they act as the food and beverage operator. This full-time salaried role plays a crucial part in driving the concessions and premium hospitality culinary programs. The Sous Chef will serve as the central figure in all culinary-related activities within the kitchen and will attend all events to ensure flawless execution, efficiency, and adherence to the company's high standards. Additionally, this role involves assisting the Executive Chef with various operational responsibilities including staff scheduling, purchasing, and invoice management, ensuring seamless kitchen operations.
The ideal candidate must possess extensive leadership experience within high-volume catering or events, be capable of maintaining kitchen morale, scheduling staff effectively, and take part in hiring, onboarding, and training new culinary team members. Proof of the Pudding values innovation and creativity, so the Sous Chef will also be responsible for developing and implementing creative menu items that align with the company’s standard of innovation and excellence. This position requires a hands-on leader with exceptional culinary skills including knife techniques and a comprehensive knowledge of various culinary methods, with a readiness to teach and mentor others.

Salary for this position ranges from $50,000 to $54,500 annually.
