Job Requirements

  • Comprehension of verbal and written food recipes, production orders and cooking instructions
  • Background in banquet or catering production preferred
  • Adherence to health and safety regulations related to equipment use and personal hygiene
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Ability to receive, unpack, unwrap, date, rotate and store deliveries
  • Willingness to perform other jobs as assigned by the supervisor
  • COVID vaccination required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in catering or banquet production preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and recipe comprehension
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Positive and proactive attitude
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking skills helpful

Job Duties

  • Produce and cook a variety of foods including soups, sauces, salads, entrees, and catering items
  • Set up stations before service with proper equipment and food supplies
  • Assist management with purchasing, inventory control and staff training
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment following health, safety and food handling regulations
  • Provide courteous, helpful and friendly customer service at all times
  • Receive, unpack, unwrap, date, rotate and store deliveries
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
