The role available is for a Sous Chef, a pivotal position within the Culinary Department of a facility managed by Morrison Healthcare. The Sous Chef plays a crucial role in supporting the successful operation of the culinary services, working in close cooperation with the Executive Chef to oversee food preparation, cooking, and menu development. This position involves supervising hourly associates, assisting with ordering and inventory management, and driving culinary innovation tailored to the specific needs of healthcare clients. Job Requirements
- Associate of Science degree or equivalent experience
- Some progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- Proven catering experience
- Experience in high volume foodservice operations
- Knowledge of institutional and batch cooking
- Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and internet applications
- Commitment to participate in client satisfaction programs
- ServSafe certified preferred
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and control expenditures for the account
- Assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
- Produce and execute catering events
- Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with the Company marketing and culinary team
- Supervise hourly associates and food preparation processes
- Assist with ordering and inventory management
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
