The Main Clubhouse, nestled in Midtown between the Atlanta Botanical Garden and Piedmont Park, offers a refined and elegant setting for its members to enjoy a variety of recreational and social activities. These include dining, racquet sports, swimming, fitness, and much more, emphasizing exclusivity, tradition, and an unparalleled community experience.

We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Sous Chef for the Park Room in the Main Clubhouse for the PM shift. This is an exceptional opportunity for a culinary professional to join a highly regarded à la carte culinary team dedicated to preparing elegant and upscale meals for our esteemed members. The role demands a leader who not only excels in cooking but also supervises and supports their team to ensure an efficient, collaborative, and high-quality kitchen environment.

The Sous Chef will be instrumental in maintaining the club’s high culinary standards by consistently exceeding member expectations through meticulous preparation, recipe adherence, and food safety compliance. They'll manage food production duties such as menu writing, ordering, costing, recipe creation, and execution, alongside supervising the Park Room kitchen staff. This leadership role requires a calm, solutions-oriented individual who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution while fostering a trustworthy and communicative environment within the kitchen.

Offered compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $65,000 annually. Job Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in kitchen preparation and professional cooking
  • 2+ years of experience in a restaurant kitchen supervisory or management position
  • ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification
  • two-year or four-year degree from a post-secondary culinary arts training program

Job Qualifications

  • Two-year or four-year degree from a post-secondary culinary arts training program
  • 4+ years of experience in kitchen preparation and professional cooking
  • 2+ years of experience in a restaurant kitchen supervisory or management position
  • ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification
