Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in kitchen leadership role
  • High work ethics and self-initiative
  • May be required to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday
  • Ability to use fine motor skills for keyboarding, typing and writing
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Occasionally required to bend, reach, or carry items
  • Ability to lift and/or move 10-25 pounds as needed
  • Visual ability to read from a computer screen and printed materials
  • Ability to listen and participate in conversations and meetings

Job Duties

  • Supervise, guide, and train kitchen associates for quality food production
  • Ensure standards related to storage, rotation, production, portions, quality, and appearance are followed
  • Complete opening and closing procedures for Station Cooks I, II, and III
  • Efficiently expedite food from the front line during meal periods
  • Manage inventory of supplies and materials for kitchen associates
  • Participate in monthly food and beverage inventory
  • Maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards in the kitchen
