Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in kitchen leadership role
  • High work ethic and self-initiative
  • Ability to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a standard office environment
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working on computer
  • Occasional standing and walking
  • Frequent use of fine motor skills for typing and office equipment
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and carry items occasionally
  • Ability to lift or move 10-25 pounds
  • Visual ability to read from screens and printed materials
  • Ability to participate in conversations and meetings using phone or headset

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in kitchen leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Supervise, guide and train kitchen associates to provide quality food production for restaurants and banquets
  • Ensure standards for storage, rotation, production, portions, quality and appearance are followed
  • Follow food handling guidelines
  • Complete opening and closing procedures for Station Cooks I, II and III
  • Expedite food from front line during meal periods
  • Ensure inventory of supplies and materials is adequate
  • Participate in monthly food and beverage inventory
