  • Strong proficiency in food safety, sanitation, and cost controls
  • Excellent communication skills with professional effectiveness
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
  • High school education or equivalent
  • ServSafe, Allergen, and Chokesaver certifications

Job Duties

  • Assist in overseeing all kitchen operations and supervise up to 25 employees including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers at our Boston, MA location
  • Engage, inspire, and lead a strong kitchen team with a focus on growth and success in Boston, MA
  • Maintain high standards for production and service according to established guidelines
  • Adhere to recipe, portioning, and presentation standards
  • Complete daily management tasks efficiently and effectively
  • Develop a deep understanding of our menu through daily tasting
  • Coach staff in food preparation, safe handling, and equipment operation based on company and regulatory standards
  • Implement seasonal menu changes and oversee kitchen execution in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Maintain inventory within guidelines, ensuring product availability
  • Maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules
