Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • 3-5 years of professional kitchen experience
  • 1 year in a sous chef or leadership role
  • Culinary degree or certificate preferred
  • ServSafe Food and Alcohol Certification
  • Prior restaurant or hospitality position experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work 50 hours per week
  • Fast-paced mobility and physical endurance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years in professional kitchens with 1 year in a sous chef or similar leadership role
  • Culinary degree or certificate preferred
  • Prior restaurant or hospitality work experience
  • ServSafe Food and Alcohol Certification
  • Excellent guest service skills
  • Ability to make independent decisions and solve problems
  • Good judgment and leadership qualities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook

Job Duties

  • Manage and direct HOH team members including hiring, scheduling, assigning, and directing work
  • Train, coach, counsel, and discipline staff
  • Conduct regular meetings and performance reviews
  • Resolve team member complaints and handle discipline decisions
  • Oversee inventory, variances, and ordering within HOH department
  • Control food and labor costs
  • Ensure adherence to company policies including food safety and sanitation
  • Manage staffing levels and shift scheduling
  • Participate in interviewing and hiring decisions
  • Address guest complaints and ensure guest satisfaction
  • Utilize company business systems for operations management
