Job Requirements

  • Minimum of two years cooking experience in a healthcare setting
  • ability to work full time or part time schedules including weekends
  • capacity to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
  • eligibility to work in the United States
  • commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of two years cooking experience in a healthcare setting
  • experience supervising and training kitchen staff
  • knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and portion control practices
  • ability to handle customer complaints professionally
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • effective communication and leadership abilities

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food following approved recipes and production standards
  • ensure all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • supervise hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, and counseling
  • store food in designated areas following all food safety and sanitation procedures
  • ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures
  • maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils and clean workstation thoroughly
  • interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner
  • monitor inventory and deliveries
  • track product production, consumption, and waste
  • perform other duties as assigned
