This role offers a fixed pay rate of $20.00 per hour, with a work schedule typically from Monday through Friday, with hours that may vary and weekends included, offering flexibility based on operational needs.
The Sous Chef will play a vital role in supporting the Executive Chef in the preparation and cooking of food, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality, and presentation within a healthcare setting. Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
- Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
- Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, reviewing and recommending disciplinary action
- Stores food following corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control and serving temperatures
- Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils
- Cleans workstation thoroughly
- Keeps display equipment clean and free of debris during service
- Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Demonstrates understanding of daily menu items and explains them accurately
- Keeps up with peak production and service hours
- Monitors inventory and deliveries
- Tracks product production, consumption and waste
- Informs supervisor when supplies are low
- Performs other duties as assigned
