We are currently hiring for a full-time Sous Chef position located at Disney Studios, 500 South Buena Vista Street, Burbank, CA. This is a Monday-to-Friday schedule role with varying hours, and the pay ranges from $30.00 to $32.00 per hour. The Sous Chef will play a critical role in supporting the Executive Chef by helping prepare and cook food, coordinating activities of kitchen staff, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and ensuring food safety and quality standards are consistently maintained. This role requires previous experience in catering, sous chef, or kitchen lead positions. The ideal candidate will be adept at supervising staff, following recipes and production standards, maintaining kitchen sanitation, and delivering excellent customer service.   • Previous inventory and ordering experience is required
  • Ability to work full time Monday through Friday with variable hours

Job Duties

  • Help executive chef prepare and cook foods
  • Coordinate activities of cooks and food-service associates
  • Supervise hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, training, and counseling
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation procedures are followed
  • Monitor inventory, product deliveries, and track waste
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstations
  • Interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly manner
