Job Requirements

  • Education equivalent to associate's degree in culinary arts preferred
  • At least three years experience in food service management
  • Certified food safety training completion
  • Ability to follow state regulations for assisted living food standards
  • Capability to work flexible schedules including weekends
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods
  • Adherence to company safety and loss prevention policies

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in culinary arts program preferred
  • Minimum of three years experience as a chef or kitchen manager
  • Successful completion of recognized food safety course
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of dietary standards for assisted living

Job Duties

  • Assist chef with planning meals
  • Help organize kitchen staffing
  • Coordinate meal preparation across all levels of care
  • Plan menus based on community preferences and dietary guidelines
  • Monitor food quality including temperature and presentation
  • Manage labor and time clock compliance
  • Maintain inventory and conduct quality assurance audits
