The position of Sous Chef at Discovery Village Alliance Assisted Living and Memory Care offers a pivotal opportunity to contribute directly to the well-being of senior residents. In this role, the Sous Chef assists in overseeing all food production, presentation, and back-of-the-house kitchen operations. This includes planning menus that respect cultural and regional preferences and adhere to dietary guidelines specific to senior care environments. This role requires collaboration with the culinary team to monitor food consistency, portion control, palatability, and attractiveness, while also assisting in labor management and inventory control. The Sous Chef supports the chef in sustaining a compliant, efficient, and welcoming kitchen atmosphere that enhances the dining experience for residents.

This full-time, part-time, or PRN role is positioned within a thriving community where culinary innovation meets dedicated senior care. The company offers competitive wages, early access to earned wages, flexible scheduling, paid time off for full-time employees, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, and a 401(k) plan with employer match. Alongside these benefits, team members receive paid training, opportunities for career advancement, company-provided uniforms, and access to an Employee Assistance Program. Proud to be an equal opportunity employer, Discovery Management Group embraces diversity and inclusion, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all team members.
