Job Requirements
- Education equivalent to associate's degree in culinary arts preferred
- At least three years experience in food service management
- Certified food safety training completion
- Ability to follow state regulations for assisted living food standards
- Capability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Physical ability to stand for long periods
- Adherence to company safety and loss prevention policies
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree in culinary arts program preferred
- Minimum of three years experience as a chef or kitchen manager
- Successful completion of recognized food safety course
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of dietary standards for assisted living
Job Duties
- Assist chef with planning meals
- Help organize kitchen staffing
- Coordinate meal preparation across all levels of care
- Plan menus based on community preferences and dietary guidelines
- Monitor food quality including temperature and presentation
- Manage labor and time clock compliance
- Maintain inventory and conduct quality assurance audits
