The current opportunity at Hai Hospitality centers around the role of Sous Chef / Executive Sous Chef, a pivotal position within their kitchen operations. This role is ideal for culinary professionals passionate about high-volume kitchen management and developing a skilled culinary team. The Sous Chef / Executive Sous Chef will play a crucial role in maintaining the high culinary standards for which Uchi Restaurants are known, overseeing a busy scratch kitchen environment, and ensuring exceptional dishes are consistently prepared. The role includes responsibilities ranging from mentoring and inspiring culinary staff to managing kitchen logistics such as ordering, scheduling, and inventory control. It also involves hands-on kitchen work across multiple stations and administrative oversight.

A unique aspect of this opportunity is the training program associated with the upcoming launch of Uchi Nashville. Candidates are expected to temporarily relocate to established training locations such as Austin, TX (preferred), Houston, TX, Dallas, TX, Miami, FL, Denver, CO, Scottsdale, AZ, or West Hollywood, CA, with lodging provided during the training period.
