The ability to obtain and maintain necessary culinary licenses and certifications is also required.

Job Requirements

  • minimum of one year of experience in a culinary role
  • ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift
  • capability to lift, carry, and maneuver items weighing up to 40 pounds

Job Duties

  • facilitating food preparation and service procedures in collaboration with the kitchen staff as directed by the executive chef

  • implementing proper food rotation and utilization to minimize waste
  • overseeing food preparation to guarantee consistency, flavor, presentation, and portion control
  • managing staffing levels, early requests, and overtime efficiently
  • ensuring that kitchen and storage areas are clean, sanitary, and in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • delegating work assignments effectively to cooks and other kitchen staff
