Aramark is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Sous Chef to join their team at DreamLive@ American Dream in East Rutherford, New Jersey. This position offers a salaried compensation ranging from $70,000 to $75,000, reflecting Aramark's commitment to investing in top culinary talent. As the Sous Chef, you will report directly to the General Manager and take a hands-on approach in various critical areas such as overseeing kitchen staff, ensuring food quality and safety protocols, and managing client relations. This position plays a key role in meeting budgetary goals and executing company-delivered programs aimed at maintaining high standards and operational excellence. The Sous Chef will also be responsible for training and managing kitchen personnel, coordinating culinary activities, selecting and developing recipes, standardizing production techniques, and ensuring the maintenance and safety of kitchen equipment.

  • 2-3 years of experience in a related position
  • 2-3 years of post-high school education or equivalent experience
  • possession of culinary degree preferred
  • advanced knowledge of food profession principles and practices
