Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of relevant experience working in a high-volume culinary environment as a chef
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with budgeting and cost management
  • Experience working in a hotel or casino culinary setting preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of prior relevant experience working a high-volume culinary environment as a chef
  • 5+ years of prior relevant experience in a high volume, with strong food knowledge, hotel/casino environment preferred
  • Associate's degree in food and beverage and/or course certification from an accredited Culinary Institute preferred

Job Duties

  • Maintain quality and proper presentation of food
  • Drive the customer relation management system by ensuring that all such orders are handled correctly
  • Communicate with chefs, management, employees and guest efficiently with proper reporting, and meetings
  • Schedule and maintain the budgeted labor costs as well as potential food cost
  • Understand and utilize Stratton Warren system properly for purchasing, release orders and cost transfers
