Job Requirements

  • associate of science degree or equivalent experience
  • experience in culinary or kitchen management
  • catering experience preferred
  • knowledge of high volume foodservice operations
  • understanding of institutional and batch cooking
  • proficient with computers including microsoft office and outlook
  • servsafe certification highly desirable
  • willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs

Job Qualifications

  • associate of science degree or equivalent experience
  • progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • catering experience is a plus
  • experience in high volume, complex foodservice operations
  • institutional and batch cooking knowledge
  • comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, email, and internet
  • willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs
  • servsafe certification is highly desirable

Job Duties

  • assist the executive chef with managing cost controls and expenditures
  • assist the executive chef with planning and creating menus
  • produce and execute catering events
  • roll out new culinary programs alongside company marketing and culinary teams
  • supervise hourly associates in the kitchen
  • prepare and cook various food items
  • develop daily menu items and ensure proper preparation and garnishment
