The role offered is for a Sous Chef position located in Charleston, SC, with an annual salary range of $60,000 - $62,000. The Sous Chef will play a vital role in managing and executing high-quality culinary services within a dynamic acute care environment. This position involves assisting the Executive Chef with overseeing the Culinary Department's operations, including supervising preparation and cooking of various food items and developing daily menus with careful attention to presentation and garnishment. The Sous Chef will also be responsible for managing cost controls alongside the Executive Chef, contributing to ordering supplies, and launching new culinary programs and catering events. Job Requirements
- associate of science degree or equivalent experience
- experience in culinary or kitchen management
- catering experience preferred
- knowledge of high volume foodservice operations
- understanding of institutional and batch cooking
- proficient with computers including microsoft office and outlook
- servsafe certification highly desirable
- willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs

- experience in high volume, complex foodservice operations

- willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs
