Job Requirements
- associate of science degree or equivalent experience
- experience in culinary or kitchen management
- catering experience preferred
- knowledge of high volume foodservice operations
- understanding of institutional and batch cooking
- proficient with computers including microsoft office and outlook
- servsafe certification highly desirable
- willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs
Job Qualifications
- associate of science degree or equivalent experience
- progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- catering experience is a plus
- experience in high volume, complex foodservice operations
- institutional and batch cooking knowledge
- comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, email, and internet
- willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs
- servsafe certification is highly desirable
Job Duties
- assist the executive chef with managing cost controls and expenditures
- assist the executive chef with planning and creating menus
- produce and execute catering events
- roll out new culinary programs alongside company marketing and culinary teams
- supervise hourly associates in the kitchen
- prepare and cook various food items
- develop daily menu items and ensure proper preparation and garnishment
