Job Requirements

  • associate degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum three years of culinary and kitchen management experience
  • catering experience required
  • knowledge of food cost controls and sanitation standards
  • computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and email
  • ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and late evenings
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • local to Boston, MA or commutable distance

Job Qualifications

  • associate degree or equivalent experience
  • at least three years of progressive high-volume culinary and kitchen management experience
  • required catering experience
  • experience in high volume complex foodservice operations
  • knowledge of food and catering trends focused on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • computer proficiency including Microsoft Office, Outlook, email, and internet
  • ability to participate in client satisfaction activities
  • ServSafe certification highly desirable
  • flexibility to work early mornings and late shifts

Job Duties

  • assist in managing cost controls and expenditures for the account
  • assist in planning and creating menus
  • produce and execute catering events
  • roll out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams
  • supervise and train hourly associates
  • collaborate with the Executive Chef on ordering and daily operations
  • ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
