Job Requirements

  • Relevant culinary education or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory kitchen role
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and health regulations
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Availability to work in person at the restaurant location

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary experience with a strong background in management preferred
  • Proven supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate diverse kitchen teams effectively
  • Strong skills in food production food handling and food safety practices across various service settings
  • Excellent inventory control and management skills to optimize food costs and reduce waste
  • Demonstrated leadership in restaurant or hospitality management roles with a focus on team development
  • Proficiency in menu planning food preparation techniques and kitchen management systems
  • Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of food service operations

Job Duties

  • Support the Kitchen Manager in managing daily kitchen operations including food preparation cooking and presentation to uphold high standards of quality and consistency
  • Supervise kitchen staff during shifts providing guidance on food production safety protocols and efficient workflow
  • Assist in menu planning and development dessert preparation and daily weekly specials
  • Oversee inventory management and control ensuring proper stock levels minimizing waste and maintaining accurate records
  • Enforce food safety standards and sanitation procedures in compliance with health regulations
  • Manage shift schedules monitor labor costs and support team training initiatives to foster a motivated and skilled workforce
