In this role, Restaurant Associates is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to join its culinary team supporting operations for Amazon in the Boston Seaport. This position operates on a Monday–Friday schedule with early morning start times around 6:00 AM, ensuring a stable work-life balance without night or weekend shifts. The Sous Chef plays a critical role in assisting the Executive Chef with day-to-day culinary production and execution. Responsibilities include supporting menu development, catering operations, and maintaining high culinary standards across multiple dining outlets such as cafes, coffee bars, catering services, and markets. A focus on food quality, presentation, sanitation, and kitchen operational efficiency is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience in fine dining, luxury hospitality, or contract foodservice, along with some progressive leadership exposure. Knowledge of food trends, cost controls, and catering for high-volume operations is highly regarded. Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office and email, alongside ServSafe certification, are requirements for this role.
