Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 3 years experience in a professional kitchen
  • strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety standards
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • effective leadership and communication skills
  • flexibility to work varied shifts including nights and weekends
  • proactive and solutions-oriented mindset

Job Qualifications

  • proven experience as a sous chef or similar role in a professional kitchen
  • solid culinary training or degree from a recognized institution
  • excellent knife skills and strong cooking fundamentals
  • experience leading and mentoring kitchen teams
  • ability to work efficiently across multiple stations

Job Duties

  • lead and supervise kitchen staff during daily operations
  • ensure all food is prepared to high-quality standards
  • manage multiple cooking stations efficiently
  • teach and mentor team members to enhance their culinary skills
  • maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop new menu items
  • monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
