Job Description

We are seeking a high-energy Sous Chef to join our culinary team and play a pivotal role in managing kitchen operations and enhancing our menu offerings. The Sous Chef will supervise the preparation of catered and concession food items, ensuring that every dish meets our rigorous quality standards. This key position requires a hands-on leader who can motivate and develop the kitchen staff, maintain kitchen equipment by adhering to operational guidelines, and ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations. The Sous Chef will also be responsible for performing clean-up and closing procedures and assisting with other duties as assigned to contribute to the smooth running of the kitchen and tavern. This role is ideal for an individual with strong organizational skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and a passion for cooking and customer satisfaction. The Sous Chef will have the opportunity to influence menu selections to reflect current dining trends and customer preferences, promoting innovation while maintaining consistency and quality across all food offerings. Job Duties

  • Supervise preparation of catered and concession food items
  • Evaluates food products to assure that quality standards are consistently achieved
  • Improve menu selection
  • Maintain kitchen equipment by following appropriate operating guidelines
  • Full compliance with the Department of Health regulations
  • Performs clean-up and closing procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
