The company prides itself on fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for guests, associates, and business partners alike, promoting a culture rich in fun, teamwork, and excellence. With a commitment to equal employment opportunities and affirmative action, Topgolf continuously strives to create a respectful, equitable, and diverse workplace that supports all employees' growth and development.
The Culinary Manager role at Topgolf is a full-time position offering an annual base salary ranging from $70,304 to $81,250 based on experience, complemented by a competitive quarterly bonus structure, merit plan, full benefits package, 401K with company match, and a lucrative paid time off (PTO) program. This pivotal role involves supervising the culinary team to deliver best-in-class dining experiences that align with Topgolf's brand values of fun, one team, excellence, edgy spirit, and caring. The Culinary Manager is responsible for coaching and developing the culinary team, ensuring operations run smoothly, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
Key responsibilities include overseeing inventory control, purchasing, managing food and labor costs with a thorough understanding of cost of goods sold (COGS), and standardizing production recipes for consistent quality. The manager will also be in charge of developing recipes that meet corporate approval, establishing presentation techniques, and planning menus for special events and chef choice offerings. Essential duties extend to ensuring that kitchen equipment is properly operated and maintained, as well as upholding rigorous safety and sanitation standards.
This role demands a minimum of three years of culinary management experience, with proven leadership abilities to build and engage a motivated team. While a bachelor's or related culinary degree is preferred, hands-on experience in fast-paced environments is critical. The Culinary Manager must possess the stamina to stand, walk, and move efficiently during shifts, sometimes under high-temperature conditions, and handle physical tasks such as lifting items up to 50 pounds, stooping, and bending.
Topgolf emphasizes a supportive culture where Associates can thrive both personally and professionally. Employees enjoy benefits designed to enhance their well-being, including free play, half-priced food, health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with employer match, and access to a free mental well-being platform. Overall, this role offers an exciting opportunity for culinary professionals eager to contribute to a dynamic and growing company that values innovation, inclusiveness, and guest satisfaction.
