Job Requirements

  • culinary training through an accredited program or four years experience in equivalent position of responsibility
  • servsafe certified or able to complete certification within the first 90 days of employment
  • catering experience plus
  • computer literate
  • able to work all shifts and days of the week

Job Duties

  • prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and quality standards
  • ensure food safety and sanitation guidelines are strictly followed
  • manage catering requirements and special event menus
  • maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
  • assist in training and mentoring junior culinary staff
  • monitor kitchen equipment and report maintenance needs
  • collaborate with dietary and care teams to meet resident needs
