Job Requirements
- Graduation from high school or equivalent
- Experience in culinary apprenticeship or advanced training
- Valid ServeSafe or sanitation certification
- Proven industrial culinary leadership experience
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to lift up to 150 pounds regularly
- Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions
- Commitment to maintaining a neat and clean appearance
- Adherence to company policies and regulations
Job Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or equivalent
- Completion of an apprenticeship or advanced culinary training program
- ServeSafe or sanitation license required
- Prior industrial culinary leadership experience
- Hotel culinary experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of menu development, cost and wage control
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Job Duties
- Assigns specific duties to kitchen staff for efficient operations
- Inspects and selects fresh ingredients for food preparation
- Ensures food quality in presentation, taste, and portion size
- Participates in food preparation for banquet, restaurant, and other services
- Processes supply requisitions and assists in staff training and supervision
- Ensures compliance with Health Department regulations on food storage and safety
- Supervises kitchen cleanliness and maintenance of refrigeration units
- Monitors cost control and maintains payroll schedules
- Attends property meetings and supports kitchen operations during peak periods
- Reports equipment repair needs and assists in VIP parties or other departmental duties
