Job Requirements

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent
  • Experience in culinary apprenticeship or advanced training
  • Valid ServeSafe or sanitation certification
  • Proven industrial culinary leadership experience
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to lift up to 150 pounds regularly
  • Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions
  • Commitment to maintaining a neat and clean appearance
  • Adherence to company policies and regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent
  • Completion of an apprenticeship or advanced culinary training program
  • ServeSafe or sanitation license required
  • Prior industrial culinary leadership experience
  • Hotel culinary experience strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of menu development, cost and wage control
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written

Job Duties

  • Assigns specific duties to kitchen staff for efficient operations
  • Inspects and selects fresh ingredients for food preparation
  • Ensures food quality in presentation, taste, and portion size
  • Participates in food preparation for banquet, restaurant, and other services
  • Processes supply requisitions and assists in staff training and supervision
  • Ensures compliance with Health Department regulations on food storage and safety
  • Supervises kitchen cleanliness and maintenance of refrigeration units
  • Monitors cost control and maintains payroll schedules
  • Attends property meetings and supports kitchen operations during peak periods
  • Reports equipment repair needs and assists in VIP parties or other departmental duties
