Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Adhere to department uniform and grooming standards, including wearing slip-resistant safety shoes
  • Ability to stand and move continuously for up to eight hours
  • Capable of bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting heavy items (up to 50 lbs) as needed in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Comfortable working in a hot, humid, or noisy setting typical of a busy kitchen
  • Flexible schedule required, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Availability during peak service times and special events is essential

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a culinary leadership role, preferably in a high-volume, multi-venue environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team
  • Expertise in food safety, kitchen operations, and inventory management

Job Duties

  • Lead by example by guiding kitchen staff during AM and PM service shifts, ensuring exceptional food quality and efficiency
  • Inspire and develop kitchen team members by training, mentoring, and managing staff to foster a positive and professional environment
  • Collaborate with the Chef de Cuisine to develop exciting new menu items and seasonal features that delight guests
  • Ensure excellence by monitoring food preparation, presentation, and safety standards to maintain consistency and quality
  • Streamline operations by overseeing inventory management, staff scheduling, and equipment maintenance to optimize kitchen efficiency
  • Collaborate with the restaurant management team to ensure smooth operations and a seamless dining experience
