Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years of culinary management experience
  • a culinary arts degree is preferred but not required
  • excellent cooking skills
  • experience mentoring and training hourly team members

Job Duties

  • oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient service flow

  • develop and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring recipe adherence and quality standards
  • uphold company culture by hiring and onboarding top talent
  • manage scheduling and staffing balancing operational needs and team well-being
  • maintain bartaco standards for flawless service execution
  • take ownership of targets, rollouts, and performance goals
  • collaborate with front-of-house and bar teams for quality standards
  • maintain clean and organized kitchen following safety guidelines
  • assist in ordering, inventory control, food cost management, and line checks
  • conduct regular kitchen equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
  • support special events and catering as needed
