Job Description
Stonebreaker Hotel is a distinguished hospitality establishment located just six blocks from the University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville. As part of the hospitality industry, Stonebreaker Hotel offers a unique lodging experience that combines proximity to the vibrant campus life with the tranquility found away from the congestion and noise of downtown Fayetteville. This balance affords guests a more elevated and intentional experience marked by comfort, charm, and attentive service. The hotel prides itself on creating an atmosphere that blends modern amenities with a welcoming, serene environment for all its visitors.
The Food & Beverage department at Stonebreaker Hotel plays a crucial role in this guest experience. The hotel is currently seeking passionate and skilled Food & Beverage leaders to join their dedicated, growing team. This leadership role is integral to ensuring that every meal served meets the highest standards of quality and presentation, reflecting the hotel's commitment to excellence. Candidates will find themselves working in a supportive and energetic setting where innovation and quality are prioritized.
The role entails a variety of responsibilities that go beyond simple meal preparation, including collaboration with the Executive Chef in reviewing menus and product specifications to uphold the culinary vision and maintain outstanding standards. The chosen candidate will also evaluate the production process, monitor portion sizes to ensure consistency and cost control, and analyze food production records alongside menu expenses to inform strategic decisions. In addition, promoting a culture of continuous quality improvement among kitchen staff is a key focus, alongside standardizing production recipes to maintain consistency across all meals served.
Leadership is a core component of this position, as the Food & Beverage leader will supervise staff, particularly in the absence of the Restaurant Chef, ensuring that the team's performance remains high and that operations run smoothly. This role requires a professional who is not only technically skilled in culinary arts but also possesses strong management capabilities and a passion for fostering a collaborative, inclusive work environment.
Stonebreaker Hotel values professionalism, inclusivity, and diversity and is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and a member of E-Verify. With an employment environment that encourages team members to be themselves, the hotel supports a vibrant workplace culture that respects and celebrates diversity. If you possess a culinary degree or equivalent work experience and hold ServSafe certification, this position offers a compelling opportunity to grow your career within a respected organization that values dedication and excellence in hospitality.
