The role of the Sous Chef at Sunrise Senior Living is a pivotal position within their culinary team. As a Sous Chef, you will support the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food production, presentation, and safety. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of culinary experience in a professional kitchen
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Job Qualifications
- Culinary arts degree or equivalent experience
- Proven experience as a sous chef or similar kitchen management role
