As a Kitchen Manager, you will be accountable for the daily success of kitchen operations, ensuring consistent high-quality food production and exceptional guest experiences. The position requires exemplary culinary skills combined with leadership capabilities to manage and inspire the kitchen staff effectively. You will oversee all kitchen functions, maintain budgetary controls, ensure sanitation and safety standards are consistently met, and contribute creatively by developing new food presentations and menu applications.
Your role involves coordinating kitchen shift activities, monitoring food production needs, and assisting the Executive Chef with operations and preparation. You will be hands-on in preparing and cooking various dishes while maintaining strict compliance with food handling, purchasing, and inventory standards. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
- OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
- 2 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
- Willingness to relocate if necessary
- Strong leadership and management abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle guest complaints professionally
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 4 years of culinary or food and beverage experience
- OR 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major with 2 years of relevant experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven leadership and team development capabilities
- Excellent knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to manage budgets and labor scheduling effectively
- Demonstrated problem-solving and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Manage kitchen shift operations ensuring compliance with food and beverage policies
