Responsibilities include supervising service execution, coaching and developing junior staff, managing food preparation with consistent precision, and ensuring rigorous standards of cleanliness and food safety. In addition, the role demands efficient management of ordering, inventory, and food cost oversight to minimize waste and maintain quality. The Sous Chef will also collaborate on menu development, recipe testing, and seasonal feature integration.
This position requires a minimum of three years of Sous Chef experience in high-end or fine dining restaurants, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in Michelin-starred or Michelin-recognized establishments. The ideal candidate possesses excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills alongside a deep understanding of both classic and modern cooking techniques. Imperfecto values individuals who lead by example, demonstrate genuine passion for culinary arts and hospitality, maintain humility and curiosity, and take pride in meticulous detail and consistency.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience, comprehensive health benefits, paid time off, dining discounts, and opportunities for professional growth and development. Joining Imperfecto means becoming part of an ambitious team dedicated to culinary excellence and innovation.
