The role in question involves direct supervision and management of food production areas within the hotel’s food and beverage operations. Working closely with the Executive Chef, the successful candidate will oversee and assist in preparing all food items using standardized recipes to maintain the highest culinary standards. This position demands a hands-on approach to ensuring food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and safety in the kitchen and surrounding work and storage areas. The responsibility extends to minimizing waste and maximizing cost-efficiency while delivering an appealing and appetizing product to guests.
This role is integral to the smooth operation of multiple food outlets and catering services within the hotel and requires coordination with various departments to facilitate seamless hospitality services for conventions, banquets, and group activities. The candidate will monitor food stations, buffets, and displays for creativity and quality, manage staffing schedules, and maintain compliance with food safety regulations. Job Requirements
- ability to stand, walk and/or sit for eight-plus hour shifts
- frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, walking and standing
- excellent communication skills including talking, hearing, seeing and smiling
- flexibility to work varying shifts as hotel operates 24/7
- must comply with all health, hygiene, and safety laws

Job Qualifications
- three or more years of progressive hotel food and beverage experience or culinary degree with two or more years of relevant experience
- experienced in high volume catering and fine dining
- proven leadership and managerial skills
- current on culinary trends and dedicated to self-development
- strong creativity and service skills
- ability to energize and lead diverse culinary teams
- computer literate
Job Duties
