The company believes in empowering its associates by offering opportunities for career growth and promoting from within, nurturing talent at every level — from entry positions to executive leadership. Known for its warm work environment and comprehensive benefits, HVMG continuously works to maintain standards of professionalism, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence.

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Sous Chef to join our esteemed team. As the right hand to our Executive Chef, the Sous Chef will play a pivotal role in the daily kitchen operations and culinary excellence of our hotels. This full-time position is designed for culinary professionals who are passionate about food, creativity, and hospitality. The Sous Chef will assist in leading and supervising kitchen staff, ensuring that food quality, safety, and presentation meet HVMG’s high standards. This role requires someone who is highly organized, attentive to detail, and eager to contribute innovative ideas to enhance guest dining experiences.

As a Sous Chef with HVMG, your responsibilities go beyond typical kitchen management. You will be deeply involved in mentoring and training kitchen staff, overseeing food preparation and inventory, and maintaining a safe and sanitary working environment. Collaboration with the Executive Chef will be crucial, as you support the culinary vision and uphold the company's reputation for outstanding food service. This role not only provides opportunities to hone your culinary skills but also sets a clear path for upward advancement within the hospitality field, with potential career trajectories leading to Chef de Cuisine, Executive Chef, or even Culinary Director roles.

Applicants with hotel experience are especially valued, but the role is open to individuals who combine formal education with hands-on experience in culinary arts. Special certifications, such as a culinary diploma, are considered an asset and demonstrate a commitment to excellence and professional growth. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, and display a warm professional demeanor that aligns with HVMG’s Culture of Excellence. This is a unique chance to join a company that values every associate, supports personal and professional advancement, and takes pride in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences nationwide.
