- Five years of supervisory kitchen experience in a similar size property
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Highly responsible and reliable
- Ability to make informed decisions considering hotel and department interests
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment

- Focus attention on guest needs, maintaining calm and courteous demeanor

Job Duties
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow colleagues
- Be able to consistently produce products that are of the highest quality
- Oversee daily production sheets and review event orders for assigned outlet
- Actively participate in training of culinary skills to junior colleagues
- Develop and adhere to standardized recipes and specifications to maintain consistency
- Promote teamwork between kitchen team and other departments
- Ensure minimal overproduction and food waste, proper rotation, labeling, and storing of food
- Assist in preparation and service of all food items according to hotel recipes and standards
- Share ideas, opinions and suggestions in daily shift briefings
- Maintain proper rotation of product in all chillers to minimize waste using FIFO rules
- Ensure storeroom requisitions are accurate and timely
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Have full knowledge of banquet menu items
- Follow kitchen policies, procedures and service standards
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
- Ensure effective and efficient work of employees, improve morale and employee relations
- Perform other duties as assigned by kitchen managers
