Renowned for its unique blend of handcrafted beer, wine, cider, spirits, and coffee, McMenamins offers a rich and inviting atmosphere through its diverse range of neighborhood pubs and historic hotels. The company places a strong emphasis on community engagement, art, history, music, food, drink, and an enjoyable social environment that caters to a broad audience. With a firm commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, McMenamins actively welcomes individuals from diverse backgrounds, fostering a workplace culture that values varied perspectives and experiences.

McMenamins Edgefield is currently seeking an Execution Sous Chef for the Power Station Pub, a pivotal role that requires both culinary expertise and leadership abilities. This is a career opportunity for those passionate about the foodservice industry, particularly within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The Execution Sous Chef will work closely with the culinary team to ensure the delivery of quality pub fare that aligns with McMenamins' standards for taste, presentation, and customer satisfaction. The role demands not only technical cooking skills but also effective management experience to guide and motivate kitchen staff, maintain operational efficiency, and uphold food safety and hygiene standards.

Applicants for this role must possess a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic setting, demonstrate prior cooking and management experience, and maintain a flexible schedule to meet the operational demands of the pub. The Execution Sous Chef will be instrumental in promoting a positive kitchen culture and executing culinary initiatives that enhance the dining experience for guests. This position offers the chance to be part of a fun, supportive team environment with significant opportunities for career advancement.

The company also places a high priority on work-life balance, providing employees with comprehensive benefits designed to support their health and well-being, including medical, dental, vision, and chiropractic coverage. Additionally, McMenamins values community involvement, with active initiatives such as restoring historic buildings, supporting local schools and nonprofits, and fostering collaborative relationships with other local businesses.
