The Kitchen Manager role is a full-time, management position responsible for the overall success of daily kitchen operations. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
- OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
- 2 years experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work full time in a management role
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal food safety regulations
- Ability to manage kitchen operations and staff effectively
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in culinary or related field
- OR 2-year degree in Culinary Arts or Hotel and Restaurant Management with 2 years experience
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to develop and maintain high culinary standards
- Experience using labor management and scheduling systems
Job Duties
- Assist in developing and designing new culinary applications and ideas
- Support supervision of kitchen shift operations and ensure compliance with all food and beverage standards and procedures
- Inform purchasing, receiving, and food storage standards
- Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
- Perform duties of kitchen managers and associates as necessary
- Estimate daily production needs and communicate them to kitchen personnel
- Assist Executive Chef with kitchen operations
