We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our back-of-house operations at Ramsay's Kitchen. Job Requirements

  • Previous experience as a sous chef within a fine-dining restaurant
  • Previous experience as a sous chef within a quality high volume restaurant
  • Keen eye for detail to ensure delivery of Hell's Kitchen levels of food quality at all times
  • Proven track record of recruiting developing motivating and retaining a high performing kitchen team
  • Strong personality with confidence and enthusiasm to lead the team in the day to day running of the kitchen
  • Exceptional communication skills verbal and written to ensure clear communication with all stakeholders
  • Ability to multitask and effectively manage relationships at all levels

Job Duties

  • Be responsible for effective execution of all dishes whilst ensuring consistent presentation and guest satisfaction in a lively restaurant and bar interacting with guests and making each visit memorable
  • Be the key leader of the kitchen effectively managing the team and driving food quality and standards
  • Lead inspire and motivate the team to achieve loyalty and retention
  • Ensure overall compliance of health and safety and food safety to both statutory and Gordon Ramsay Restaurants standards
  • Manage supply chain and stock control effectively in keeping with the concept and in line with Gordon Ramsay Restaurant standards
  • Manage food margin within the targets set
  • Coordinate control and manage all resources and commercials to deliver all targets of the P and L
