Job Requirements
- Minimum two years prior experience as sous chef, kitchen manager or supervisor
- Strong understanding of authentic Italian cuisine
- Ability to work varied shifts including weekends
- Positive attitude and clear, professional communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and COVID protocols
- Ability to manage kitchen inventory, ordering and scheduling
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Job Qualifications
- Minimum two years experience as a sous chef, kitchen manager, or supervisor
- Strong kitchen and dining room experience with attention to authentic Italian cuisine
- Ability to train and supervise kitchen staff effectively
- Knowledge of food and facility safety requirements including COVID protocol
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience in full service fine dining upscale restaurants is a plus
- Flexible and professional attitude with strong work ethic
Job Duties
- Food preparation and service for all meal periods
- Recipe adherence with special attention to timely preparation and plate presentation
- Training and supervising kitchen staff
- Adhering to food and facility safety requirements including all COVID protocol
- Ensuring that quality and cost standards are consistently obtained
- Completing kitchen administrative and human resource duties
- Inventory, ordering and scheduling with service and cost control measures in place
