We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary leadership team. Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, this role is integral to the daily operation of our kitchen and overall restaurant success. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment and a deep understanding of New American cuisine. Beyond basic supervision, the Sous Chef will be responsible for balancing operational efficiency with the pursuit of culinary excellence and an outstanding guest experience. This includes overseeing daily kitchen activities, managing staff scheduling, monitoring inventory and food costs, and ensuring every dish meets our exacting standards for quality, flavor, and presentation.
The Sous Chef will also play a critical role in training, mentoring, and developing our culinary team, fostering strong collaboration and skill enhancement among our line cooks and kitchen staff. Job Requirements
- minimum of 3 years experience in a similar sous chef or senior kitchen management role
- culinary degree or equivalent professional certification preferred
- solid understanding of food safety regulations and kitchen sanitation practices
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- capacity to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- proven management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced upscale dining environment
- deep knowledge of New American cuisine and modern culinary techniques
- adept at utilizing operational reports to identify trends, reduce waste, and improve profitability

- assist in the comprehensive management of daily kitchen operations and staff scheduling
