Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 2 years culinary experience
- knowledge of food safety regulations
- ability to work early morning shifts
- physical stamina for kitchen work
- good interpersonal skills
- ability to follow standardized recipes and portion controls
Job Qualifications
- experience in a culinary role, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to prepare food according to standardized recipes
- leadership skills to manage and supervise kitchen staff
- excellent communication and organizational abilities
- culinary degree or certification preferred
- familiarity with dietary restrictions and special meal preparation
Job Duties
- assist the Executive Chef in overall coordination of food preparation and presentation
- supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficiency and quality
- enforce sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen
- prepare food following standardized recipes and portion requirements
- manage meal schedules and proper storage of raw and prepared food
- oversee cleaning requirements and maintenance of kitchen equipment
- support inventory management and ordering supplies
