Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as a sous chef
  • Proven experience in fine dining establishments
  • Experience with banquet service, catering, and large-scale food production
  • Extensive knowledge of food safety standards
  • Familiarity with menu planning, shift management, and restaurant operations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Assist in overseeing all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality
  • Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative environment focused on excellence and continuous improvement
  • Manage inventory control and food safety procedures to minimize waste and ensure compliance with health regulations
  • Support menu planning and development, incorporating innovative dishes while maintaining operational efficiency
  • Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with attention to detail and timely execution
  • Monitor shift management, ensuring smooth transitions between teams and optimal staffing levels during busy periods
  • Uphold high standards of food handling, hygiene, and safety protocols across all kitchen activities
