- Experience as a Sous Chef or similar position

Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably as a Sous Chef or similar position within a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of food service operations, including culinary techniques and kitchen management practices
- Experience in team management, with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of culinary professionals
- Familiarity with inventory control processes and best practices for maintaining stock levels
- Background in banquet service is highly desirable
- Experience in menu development
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
Job Duties
- Assist the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation and culinary activities
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels
- Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency and quality across all dishes
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment
- Participate in banquet preparations, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality meals for events
- Provide training and mentorship to junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere
- Assist with bartending duties as needed during events or busy service periods
