Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in food services
  • ServSafe Manager food safety certification obtained within 1 year of hire
  • Ability to work full-time with varied shifts including every other weekend
  • No remote work
  • No on-call duties
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks required by food service operations
  • Commitment to follow safety and quality control procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in food services
  • ServSafe Manager food safety certification within one year of hire
  • Proven skills in team coordination and leadership
  • Ability to maintain quality control standards
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capability to train and supervise team members

Job Duties

  • Provide well-seasoned, appetizing, appealing and nutritious food for regular diets, modified diets and special functions according to standardized recipes
  • Coordinate team assignments
  • Monitor inventory
  • Train team members
  • Use and maintain equipment
  • Perform chef duties in chef's absence including production sheets, tracking sheets and scheduling
  • Oversee and maintain quality control, monitor and take corrective action as necessary
  • Assist with team member functions including interviewing, performance appraisals, disciplinary action, coaching and scheduling
  • Coordinate team member orientation, training and competency assessment
  • Monitor overall security of the department
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
