Job Requirements

  • High school diploma GED or equivalent experience
  • Proven culinary experience in a food preparation role
  • Knowledge of food safety sanitation standards
  • Ability to lead and supervise a small team
  • Capacity to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Availability to work full-time
  • Commitment to workplace safety and compliance policies

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary experience leading food preparation at a specific station
  • Working knowledge of food safety sanitation and kitchen best practices
  • Ability to supervise and provide guidance to a small team
  • Strong passion for quality food preparation and service excellence
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Familiarity with healthcare foodservice environments is a plus
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Lead food preparation and production at an assigned station ensuring quality consistency and presentation standards
  • Maintain proper food handling sanitation and safety practices
  • Provide direction and support to team members assigned to the station
  • Follow all food safety sanitation and workplace safety requirements in alignment with Sodexo and Kaiser Permanente standards
  • Supervise and guide less than two full-time employees at the assigned station
  • Assist in training and mentoring culinary team members
  • Ensure compliance with health department standards and internal policies
