Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous management experience preferred
- Valid ServSafe certificate preferred
- Ability to work Monday through Friday with varying hours
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Customer service orientation
- Physical ability to perform kitchen duties including lifting
- Ability to stand for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- Previous management experience preferred
- Valid ServSafe certificate preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to supervise and lead a team
- Strong customer service skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to manage inventory and control waste
Job Duties
- Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
- Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, participation in reviews and recommending disciplinary action
- Stores food following all corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
- Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils and cleans workstation thoroughly
- Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Monitors inventory and deliveries of product and supplies and tracks product production, consumption and waste
- Performs other duties as assigned
