  • strong communication and collaboration skills
  • flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts

Job Duties

  • assist in the planning and execution of menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends
  • manage inventory control to minimize waste and ensure the availability of high-quality ingredients
  • supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations
  • maintain food service standards by adhering to health and safety regulations
  • collaborate with the executive chef on menu planning, including special events such as banquets
  • train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment that encourages creativity and excellence
  • ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality
  • assist in managing kitchen costs while maintaining exceptional food quality
