We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team on a full-time basis. The position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $20.00 to $22.00 and requires the ability to work on-site. As a Sous Chef, you will play a vital role in assisting the Executive Chef by overseeing the kitchen's daily operations, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring that all food preparation meets the highest standards of taste, presentation, and safety. This role requires a dynamic individual who can work efficiently under pressure, bring creativity to menu planning, and embody leadership qualities to mentor and motivate the kitchen team effectively. The ideal candidate will be deeply knowledgeable about food management practices including inventory control and health regulations, as well as flexible to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Your responsibilities will include assisting in designing menus that align with seasonal produce and current culinary trends, supervising kitchen staff during shifts by providing guidance and support to promote a positive working environment, maintaining stringent food safety and quality standards, collaborating on the planning and execution of special event menus like banquets, and strategically managing kitchen costs to uphold quality without compromising financial efficiency.
