Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Degree in culinary arts preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of experience on a progressive line
  • At least one year in a supervisory role
  • Experience as Chef de Partie or Chef de Cuisine preferred
  • Experience with catering production
  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude
  • Ability to work nights and weekends

Job Duties

  • Supervise daily kitchen operations to ensure high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Manage and train kitchen staff to uphold service excellence and efficiency
  • Coordinate catering production and special event culinary needs
  • Maintain inventory and control food costs while adhering to budget guidelines
  • Enforce health and safety regulations to guarantee a clean and safe working environment
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance resident dining experiences
  • Stay current with culinary trends and incorporate innovative techniques and menu items
