Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Degree in culinary arts preferred
- 3 to 5 years of experience on a progressive line
- At least one year in a supervisory role
- Experience as Chef de Partie or Chef de Cuisine preferred
- Experience with catering production
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude
- Ability to work nights and weekends
Job Duties
- Supervise daily kitchen operations to ensure high standards of food quality and presentation
- Manage and train kitchen staff to uphold service excellence and efficiency
- Coordinate catering production and special event culinary needs
- Maintain inventory and control food costs while adhering to budget guidelines
- Enforce health and safety regulations to guarantee a clean and safe working environment
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance resident dining experiences
- Stay current with culinary trends and incorporate innovative techniques and menu items
