Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years culinary experience
  • Knowledge of food safety protocols
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to lead a team
  • Positive attitude and genuine approach to hospitality

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Experience in a professional kitchen or similar culinary environment
  • Ability to maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • Knowledge of menu planning and food cost management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to supervise and train kitchen staff
  • Understanding of employment and health regulations in a restaurant setting

Job Duties

  • Adheres to standards of professional appearance, personal cleanliness, and proper uniform
  • Displays confidence and a friendly disposition at all times
  • Maintains, supports and promotes CMR Culture and philosophies
  • Controls cost and maximizes revenue
  • Communicates in a timely and professional manner with associates, guests, purveyors, partners, and community
  • Establishes quality standards for menu items and food production
  • Maintains sanitation to exceed Health Department standards
  • Supervises Heart of House associates including interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, appraising performance, rewarding, disciplining, and resolving problems
