Job Requirements

  • Must have A.S. degree or equivalent culinary experience
  • Prior culinary or kitchen management experience
  • Ability to manage high volume foodservice operations
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and cost controls
  • Ability to use computers including Microsoft Office and email
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Willingness to engage in client satisfaction programs
  • Ability to supervise kitchen staff
  • Must be able to perform job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • A.S. degree or equivalent culinary experience
  • Progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • Catering experience is a plus
  • Experience in high volume, complex foodservice operations
  • Knowledge of food and catering trends
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, email, and internet
  • ServSafe certification is highly desirable
  • Ability to participate in client satisfaction initiatives

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and account expenditures
  • Assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
  • Produce and execute catering events
  • Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with marketing and culinary teams
  • Supervise hourly kitchen associates
  • Ensure food quality, sanitation, and presentation standards
  • Support client satisfaction programs
