Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years experience as a sous chef in a professional kitchen
- Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation protocols
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy kitchen items
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Availability to work full-time seasonal hours
- Commitment to maintaining high food quality and hygiene standards
Job Qualifications
- Two years prior experience as a sous chef
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen equipment/product
- Team oriented attitude with strong work ethic
Job Duties
- Assisting the executive chef
- Preparing and cooking menu items according to recipes and kitchen standards
- Ensuring food safety, quality, presentation and consistency
- Assisting with prep work including chopping, portioning, and ingredient preparation
- Communicating effectively with kitchen team during service
- Maintaining cleanliness of workstation and kitchen equipment
- Assisting with receiving, storage, and inventory rotation as needed
