Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years experience as a sous chef in a professional kitchen
  • Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation protocols
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy kitchen items
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Availability to work full-time seasonal hours
  • Commitment to maintaining high food quality and hygiene standards

Job Qualifications

  • Two years prior experience as a sous chef
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen equipment/product
  • Team oriented attitude with strong work ethic

Job Duties

  • Assisting the executive chef
  • Preparing and cooking menu items according to recipes and kitchen standards
  • Ensuring food safety, quality, presentation and consistency
  • Assisting with prep work including chopping, portioning, and ingredient preparation
  • Communicating effectively with kitchen team during service
  • Maintaining cleanliness of workstation and kitchen equipment
  • Assisting with receiving, storage, and inventory rotation as needed
